So, with the fall of gas prices around the good life state, I get a kick out of a little fill 'er up game I like to call "How many gallons will $20 get me, today?" I was enjoying watching the numbers spin faster as the pump poured the ethanol-laced fuel into my vehicle. When the pump stopped pumping, the number of gallons ended in ".25". I began to ponder how much that equaled.
"Hmmm.... a quarter of a gallon. I wonder how much that is..."
I began doing the math in my head.
"Let's see - - there's two cups in a pint....
"Two pints in a quart......
"Four quarts in a..... OH MY GOSH I'm SOOOO Dumb some days!!!"
Ummm... yeah - - a quarter of a gallon is a QUART!
